MTEMC plans outages June 17 in south Lebanon
Middle Tennessee Electric crews will be working to improve electric service in Lebanon, June 17, which will require outages in the southern part of the city.
The scheduled work will require about 300 residences to be without power, and it will include the commercial
businesses along South Cumberland Street. The scheduled times for the outages are set to begin at 1 p.m. and last until approximately 4 p.m.
Specifically, the affected locations will be Maple Street (from Chrissa Lane to Leeville Pike),
Chrissa Lane, Wesley Way, June Drive, Adams Avenue, Jennings Street, Hobbs Avenue, Maple Drive and Cumberland Street (from Adams Avenue to just past Cedar Street).
Crews will work to double power line voltage and replace aging transformers.
Should weather become inclement, the work will be postponed until June 18.
